Mission Statement

The mission of the Lillian Vallely Youth Foundation is to complement and supplement the academic, Native culture, spiritual and social developmental of Native American youth in southeastern Idaho. We strive to fulfill the mission of Deaconess Lillian Vallely by providing support that reinforces Christian values within the Native American youth population. This support consists of grants, scholarships, financial assistance and facilities that enhance a Native American youth’s progress in walking through both the native and traditional cultures. Such assistance is focused on cultural development including, but are not limited to, academics, cultural awareness, and education.

2.0 Rules for LV Youth Foundation Funding

To achieve the mission of the Lillian Vallely Youth Foundation, it requires the grant's purpose be specific. How will it further the purposes shown in the mission statement? The priority for grants awarded is first, to elementary age children, second, to secondary school age, third, to college age youth. (All reimbursements or expenses for which the grant is expected to pay, shall be submitted on legal receipts. LVYF reserves the right to pay vendors to the grantee directly.)
